Studio Scapes

"Hoo,boy!," as my grandfather used to say. It's been a looooonnnng time since you've heard from me. Well, anyway... I've been featured as one of the studio scapes on Seth Apter's blog, The Altered Page.

Go here http://thealteredpage.blogspot.com/2010/11/studioscapes-chapter-11.html to see his post and a photo of my work table - if you can stand looking at the mess, that is. Only joking (though it really is almost always a mess). With Seth's usual genius for projects that fascinate, you can see many other artists' work environments. And many of them make me turn green with envy.

Really, really, I will post some interesting stuff soon.
In the mean time, Happy Holidays to all.

Hugs

Just to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you, my dear, kind readers. Here is a little something to make you smile. Couldn't resist - especially because the music is my favorite Leonard Cohen song.

And stay tuned because I will be posting soon with lots of news and pics.

I'm published!!!

I'm published in an article in the May/June issue of Cloth Paper Scissors!!! The magazine published a feature article about the Disintegration Collaboration project that Seth Apter of the The Altered Page invented and that I participated in last year. You can find me on page 45. CPS chose several participating artists' work to illustrate Seth's article and every piece is just gorgeous. It's a beautiful article and I recommend you check it out.I am honored to be included in this article in my favorite magazine and also to be featured along side such wonderful artists.

Cloth Paper Scissors also has a feature on its website where you can make your own DisCo piece and upload your photos. Check it out here. It was such a rewarding thing to participate in this and you can't go wrong to give it a whirl.

Heads Up Everyone

Heads up, everyone! Quick! Run on over now to Seth Apter's blog, The Altered Page You remember Seth? He's the guy who thinks up all those really neat artist collaborations that I have participated in. Seth is celebrating over 200,000 visits to his blog by giving back to his readership with a giveaway of some really cool books. You have to leave a comment on his blog and you should tell him which book you'd like. If your name is a winner by random drawing, you get the book you want. You've gotta do this today to be in it!

The giveaway will launch The Book Guild a series of posts about book recommendations by artists who participated in The Pulse zine. If you enter because I sent you, please let him know where you heard about it. And if you win, do come back here and let me know in a comment.
Good luck and may the books be with you!
