Here is a photo of a scene I took this morning. What do you think it is? It looks like an aerial view of a trail or a river, perhaps? Actually, it is the pattern made in the snow on my terrace by the drizzling rain that followed yesterday's meager snowfall. I think it is beautiful, this tidbit of a gift given to me on an otherwise ordinary and dreary Sunday morning in New York City.

Yes, the photo does look like one taken from either a spy plane or a satellite. I like it. If you look close up enough, you can see me waving at you.
